I was born with Polands Syndrome, have thyroid disease, hysterectomy at 37 from fibroids and teratoma of thyroid tissue,cancer and heart disease in both sides of my family, and possibly osteoporosis and I'm only 43. I can see myself ordering the necessary parts to keep me healthy and living a little longer. I do wish we could alter our genetic code in procreating so that we could wipe disease and birth defects out. We would only need transplants for accidents and unhealthy lifestyles. I hope we are able to actually help people with the technology but I know our government will stand in the way of its progress. I can always imagine we may be able to clone good government some day too. Keep up the good work and may the government stay out of it. It stopped working when I was 12yrs old and my life has really sucked ever since.If I could get a new pancreas with out all the worries of rejection and could go on to live a normal life that wasn't full of pricking to check my sugar levels and insulin shots that would really be amazing.It would be like a brand new life to me.Keep up the research it sounds like a great idea. I would love to let you grow a pancreas for me.
