I can add another 2 "boring" components of longevity -

Hygiene. 2 showers a day. Japanese generally take a shower and bath every day.
And drink lots of tea (water).

I think HBOT can help you when you're sick. I do have to wonder though if continued high levels of pressurised oxygen is good for you. Hyperoxia and all the free radicals it generates will almost definitely shorten your life. "Those that live by oxygen, die by oxygen".

Actually, dairy products (and meat products) are high in methionine, and a low methionine diet will help you live longer.

Although we've figured out how to live longer than our ancestors did -- certainly those of us in parts of the world where we have sewers and clean water live longer than our ancestors could have lived crowded together like we are -- there's value in thinking about how we lived in our original natural environment, just because evolution selected the traits that worked for us during most of our history. On the other hand, northern European goat-herders did have time to evolve the ability to digest the milk of other species into adulthood, and some of us inherited those genes.

There's also value in testing on animals. For one thing, many people don't mind harming and killing lab animals but would object to harming human subjects. In the case of longevity, you're right, an experiment where humans are fed resveratrol for their whole lives will be a lot more convincing that it works on humans than an experiment where mice are fed resveratrol for their whole lives. Any individual who wants to wait 80 years for the results is completely justified.

There's a hyperbaric therapy center in Fresno, California. The family who runs the place had a son who suffered a near drowning who has been helped greatly by the therapy. Maybe there are more centers around.
