Why do people seem to take leave of their senses when drooling over the idea that they, too, can become their very own borg for a few bucks within a year, or at least before their stupid friends no longer think it's fashionable? Just because someone shows a picture of a tiny screen close to an eyebal doesn't make it so. Try placing ANYTHING within an inch of your eye and try focussing on it. If after that you can't see the folly of these claims, god help you because you'll be out of reach of help by anyone else. if no-one is telling you how obvious problems like those are being overcome, don't beleive the hype!

I want my desktop display to have 2048x2048... let alone every square inch.

Even the HD-est of HD tvs only do 1920x1080, only about half of what they want to put on my eyeglasses. Bring the noise!
