I found Eureqa through “New scientist” magazine and am absolutely blown away by the power of this software – and it is free! I have simulated some random boolean expressions to see how close the software can get to a boolean expression for a set of logic statements. It very quickly came up with an expression for a 5 input one output bollean truthtable. The expression did not quite fit and it reported zero error but very often one can accept a boolean expression which does not exaclty fit all data (don’t care states).
