Remember that Lego NXT robot that could solve Rubik's cubes in a variety of sizes at high speed? Well its inventor, David Gilday from the UK (aka IAssemble), has decided to upgrade the larger version of the device. It now runs off a smart phone. That's right, in the long list of accomplishments accredited to your Android phone you can now add: "solves a 7x7x7 Rubik's cube a hell of a lot faster than I can." Check out the ARM based 777 Multicuber in the video below. Smart phones, Lego robots, fads from the 80s - what more could you want?
