I do not understand the two options you are given here to be honest. Can you elaborate please?
I’m sure both will be tried, and novel systems will be created in an attempt to make AI behave like humanity expects.
The real question seems to be, which system will come to succeed or dominate? And will humanity be able to make use of these novel moral frameworks, whether they succeed or fail in the context of AI?
