As an undergraduate and graduate student I have authored five academic papers in the field of particle physics. While I am currently based in California at UC Irvine, I've been invited to do research at multiple institutions including the University of Arizona and CERN. I am a recipient of UC Irvine's Chancellor's Fellowship (the highest offered), the National Science Foundation's Research Trainee Fellowship for Machine Learning, and an honorary fellowship from the National Science Foundation's Graduate Researcher Fellowship Program (GRFP).
I am passionate about making the really interesting and out there parts of physics more accessible to the general public and getting minorities in the field such as women, queer people, and POC involved in the field. I believe that anyone is capable of understanding difficult concepts in science and I hope to contribute to pedagogical literature with the goal of improving this understanding.
