Hrvoje Tkalčić

Hrvoje is a professor, head of geophysics, and director of Warramunga Array at the Australian National University. He uses seismology and mathematical geophysics tools to understand the internal workings of our planet. You can think of these tools together as an internal telescope through which we image Earth's structure and dynamics. His research interests span global seismology from the inner core to the crust, ocean, cryosphere, atmosphere, and out in the solar system. He contributes to the deployment of geophysical instruments in remote areas of Earth including oceans and supports their installation on other planets and bodies of the solar system.
