William Barter

Will is a particle physicist, working at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), seeking to understand the fundamental behavior of the universe. He is a member of the University of Edinburgh Experimental Particle Physics group, and a member of the LHCb collaboration who operate the LHCb detector, one of four main experiments at the LHC. Will’s research includes studies of the weak force (which is responsible for radioactivity), the internal structure of the proton, differences between matter and anti-matter, and searching for the influence of new particles in decays of B-hadrons involving tau-leptons.
