Ben is a Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT. He is interested in searching for atmospheric signatures of life on extrasolar planets. To that end, his research current focuses on characterizing the spottedness of exoplanet host stars so that we may separate the spectral signatures of starspots from those of exoplanetary atmospheres in future, precise observations.
