I think Jason Silva can relate.
The ever excitable futurist filmmaker focuses his latest enthusiasm on Ray Kurzweil’s Six Epochs of Evolution. If you’re not familiar, the epochs are Kurzweil’s major stages of technological progress that we humans have went through and continue forward with – we’re currently in Epoch 5: The Merger of Human Technology With Human Intelligence.
But while you can always look them up in Wikipedia, that’s so not fun compared to watching Silva ebullient descriptions in his latest “cinematic espresso shot.”

Peter Murray was born in Boston in 1973. He earned a PhD in neuroscience at the University of Maryland, Baltimore studying gene expression in the neocortex. Following his dissertation work he spent three years as a post-doctoral fellow at the same university studying brain mechanisms of pain and motor control.
