When asked by his colleagues why he spent so much time talking about science instead of doing science, Carl Sagan answered, “When you’re in love, you want to tell the world.”

I think Jason Silva can relate.

The ever excitable futurist filmmaker focuses his latest enthusiasm on Ray Kurzweil’s Six Epochs of Evolution. If you’re not familiar, the epochs are Kurzweil’s major stages of technological progress that we humans have went through and continue forward with – we’re currently in Epoch 5: The Merger of Human Technology With Human Intelligence.

But while you can always look them up in Wikipedia, that’s so not fun compared to watching Silva ebullient descriptions in his latest “cinematic espresso shot.”
