Prior to joining King's College London, Yali Du was a postdoctoral research fellow at University College London. She obtained her PhD from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Her research interests include multi-agent cooperation and coordination; reinforcement learning and generalization; evaluation of human and AI players; social aspects of learning agents (e.g. explainability, human-in-the-loop learning, ethics); applications in game AI, and data science.
