John (Jay) Rogers is CEO and co-founder of Local Motors, a car company that co-creates its vehicles online through an open-source, virtual community consisting of 30,000 designers, engineers, and auto enthusiasts around the world. Disrupting the automotive industry through collaborative design and distributed manufacturing, the company has already designed the Rally Fighter car and the DARPA XC2V combat vehicle, and is now collaboratively working on a motorized bicycle.
