Robin Smith

Robin Smith obtained his PhD in nuclear physics at the University of Birmingham. Since August 2017 he has been a lecturer in physics at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK, helping to establish a physics research group. He specializes in the fields of nuclear structure and nuclear astrophysics, examining the shapes of atomic nuclei and determining nuclear reaction rates in stars by experimentally colliding nuclei using particle accelerators.
