On August 28-30 at the Singularity University Global Summit, we will be showcasing the world’s most promising social impact technology companies. If your organization is focused on building technology to directly impact our 11 grand global challenges, sign up here for the chance to be recognized in front of some of the world’s leading innovators, investors and entrepreneurs.

The mission of Singularity University is to educate, inspire and empower leaders to apply exponential technologies to address humanity's grand challenges—these are the big hurdles we must overcome to go from a world of scarcity to a world of abundance.

It’s a bold quest. But already there are inspiring teams making progress by focusing on the exponential convergence of new technologies and using revolutionary breakthroughs to bring new products, services and ideas to market with the potential to positively impact billions of lives.

This summer, we’re gathering these companies for a very specific reason: to celebrate them. Our first-ever Global Grand Challenge Awards will put the most promising social impact tech companies on display at the Singularity University Global Summit happening August 28-30 in San Francisco.

Whether it’s creating rapid response systems for natural disasters, figuring out how to build spacecraft parts in orbit, or coming up with ways to deliver clean water to billions in need, the companies we’re looking for are those making the greatest positive impact on a global scale.

This is not your ordinary showcase. These social impact tech companies will be given the spotlight in front of our community, including global development organizations, NGOs and SU corporate partners. Further, one company will be selected to represent each GGC on the main stage at the SU Global Summit, sharing their progress with a packed room and broadcast live worldwide.

In his book Abundance: The Future Is Better Than You Think, SU co-founder Peter Diamandis said,Technology is a resource-liberating mechanism. It can make the once scarce the now abundant.”

It’s this ideal that GGC award winners must exemplify, and it’s SU’s goal to bring them forth.
Are you or someone you know involved in a social impact tech company that the world deserves to know and love? Apply now to join the ranks of the elite and drive human progress forward.
